We have many elegant and intimate spaces for a family reunion, a retreat, a baptism, a birthday party, a wedding, a rehearsal dinner or brunch the day after. We house the hosts and their lucky guests and can arrange more rooms at the association of Elegant Bed and Breakfasts. Our events team, winners of Dan’s Papers Best of the Best for Catering, will plan your wedding from start to finish, coordinating with the executive chef, florist and photographer.
Meet with our chef to design your special menu. Locally grown artisan foods are the ingredients that shape our imaginative menus and elegant presentation. We strike the perfect balance between tradition and innovation, creating extraordinary results that endure time and trend. We urge you to make an appointment to tour the property or just dine in the restaurant to experience the food and service. In considering us, you can be assured that we will go out of our way to make your event memorable.

Kaitlyn Ferris Photography Blog: Jacqui + Greg
"No one could say it better than my girl Jenny from Wildflower Floral Events when she said, “There was nothing gloomy about this rainy wedding day!” It’s true. This venue really is so beautiful. All of it’s rooms, it’s little quirks, the vintage feel, all of it’s authentic history and the rustic accents. We took advantage of all it had to offer- the girls got ready in the solarium, the dress got hung at the tippy top room of the house beside a telescope, the first look we hid on the beautiful front porch to shelter us from the rain, the barn out back to celebrate their ceremony, we even soaked in the little peaks of sunlight and all the natural light the day had to offer with formal photos inside the solarium without worrying about getting wet, too. Jacqui and Greg were glowing the entire day. I bet there isn’t a single person who was there that day who can’t agree with that statement. Being a part of a first look is always a treat, because it really is such an intimate part of the day. If there was any time during their wedding that made me realize how in love these two are it was right then- oh man, what a crazy beautiful moment."

Kelsey Combe Photography Blog: Hayley & Steve
"Hayley & Steve were married this past August at just about the coolest venue we’ve ever been to. Jedediah Hawkins Inn is a histroic house in Riverhead, NY– and it is just so beautiful. And awesome! (It has a speakeasy in the basement.) And, to date, it was the best experience we have ever had as vendors. The staff was so kind and helpful and happy– and overall it was so clearly the perfect place for Hayley & Steve to tie the knot. Hayley wore a stunning BHLDN dress and held a wildflower bouquet. You cannot miss their first-look, the special surprise at the end of the ceremony, their gorgeous and carefully crafted details, and I cannot even get started on how amazing the band was. You can find more about them here, elan artists. They threw an amazing party.
Hayley & Steve- we wish so much we could shoot your wedding every weekend. It was so wonderful to share in– and also, I would not say no to eating that amazing food every night of my life. Thank you so much for having us!" Kelsey

Couples clamoring for a wedding that's off the beaten path need to look no further than the Jedediah Hawkins Inn in Jamesport. Though the upscale inn has only been in business since 2006, it has already established a tradition of excellence for its quirky charm and solicitous attention to detail.
Weddings at the inn can enjoy the eclectic range of possibilities it presents for couples who dread the thought of a cookie-cutter celebration. The inn's jewel box interior features a series of distinctive rooms, each furnished in a unique style. Outside, the lawn sweeps starkly to the horizon, creating breathtaking vistas, and the inn's stately architecture makes it a fitting backdrop for both elegant and relaxed merrymaking.
The accommodating staff dedicates itself to ensuring that your wedding celebration is everything you want it to be. The staff works with couples individually to concoct a wedding celebration that reflects particular interests and priorities, whether it's a formal reception with a full-service, sit-down dinner or a more casual, roaming reception that allows guests to wander freely through the inn and grounds. This inn is truly one-of-a-kind. Once you step onto the porch, taking in the expansive views around you and meeting the welcoming smiles of the staff, you'll feel right at home.

"Finding just the right venue became our biggest challenge and when we found Jedediah Hawkins Inn--an Inn that combined the best of old world Victorian Charm with the most modern luxuries and sensibilities (can you say woven leather ceilings!) -- we knew we had our venue.
The rest fell into place: ceremony in the gazebo out near the Inn's historic barn, cocktails in the original Speakeasy where they have Long Island Reisling on TAP!, and a five-course sit-down feast in the dining room complete with a gorgeous mantel prepared just to their liking."
