Philosophy: As cliche as it sounds today, my approach has always been “ingredients first,” prepared with sound technique and interesting flavor combinations.

Signature Dish: Our most casual dishes are signatures, such as our duck wings and shrimp and lobster meatballs.

Favorite Summer Ingredient: I’d have to say fresh corn and seafood are always near and dear to my heart.

Fantasy Dinner Guest: I would love to have the Clinton come in. I would serve a version of the Sunday suppers I had the privilege of serving them while at the White House. It would be amazing to reflect back on that period of time with them.
